President Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First
Presidency, has taught:
“There is a simple cure for the terrible malady of
forgetting God, His blessings, and His messages to us. Jesus Christ promised it
to His disciples when He was about to be crucified, resurrected, and then taken
away from them to ascend in glory to His Father. . . .
“ ‘But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you’ [John 14:26].
“The key to . . . remembering . . . is receiving the Holy
Ghost who helps us see what God has done for us. It is the Holy Ghost who can
help those we serve to see what God has done for them”
“O Remember, Remember,” Ensign, Nov. 2007, 68.
