“Butterflies are a symbol of transformation,” she says. “A homely caterpillar builds a chrysalis, completely dissolves itself, and then becomes a beautiful butterfly. That’s such a metaphor for life. Change and trials are hard, and we’re constantly having to reinvent ourselves and push our limits and hopefully become what God wants us to become.”
